Details of Air Plasma Cutter
Air plasma cutters can cut several metals and conductive materials. High-speed jets of ionised gas, generally air, create electricity. When the metal is melted by high heat and ejected by a fast gas stream, it cuts cleanly.
The power supply generates an electrical current for plasma arc production. It provides high processing voltage.
A handheld plasma torch focuses the plasma arc on the material to be cut. It releases ionised gas quickly using a changeable electrode and nozzle.
Air plasma cutters generate plasma from compressed air. Certain types need metal-specific gases, such as nitrogen for stainless steel.
